Ted Harrison, a senior vice president and chief operating officer of Technical and Project Engineering, has elevated to the positions of executive VP and general manager at the Alexandria, Virginia-based government services provider.
Harrison will continue to oversee programs and personnel for the company’s portfolio of technology, management consulting and training services, TAPE said Tuesday.
The retired Army major general will also work with TAPE CEO Louisa Long Jaffe and Chief Growth Officer John Moore to develop strategic proposals and plan growth initiatives.
His 37-year military career included time as director of operations in the Army Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management and commanding general of Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama.
He most recently served as a senior adviser to the Section 809 Panel on Acquisition Reform, a group of public and private sector professionals that provided recommendations to Congress on how to accelerate the Department of Defense buying process.
“TAPE, as with most companies in government contracting and other industries across our nation, faced many unforeseen challenges in 2020 and into 2021,” said Jaffe.
“Ted’s steadfast support, leadership, and business acumen not only sustained us during this difficult period, but also helped us attain one of our highest achieving years ever in 2020.”
