Novetta has promoted company veterans Michael Thieme and Kevin Heald to senior vice president ranks in support of its efforts to align technology offerings and expand the division whose primary focus is on delivering advanced technologies to defense and intelligence customers.
Heald, an eight-year company technologist and former VP of information exploitation, will serve as SVP within the same division and supervise efforts related to emerging technologies and enterprise offerings, the company said Thursday.

Thieme, a two-decade Novetta executive who most recently served as VP of special projects, will be responsible for overseeing and leading product research and development efforts as SVP and chief technology officer.
Gates also highlighted the commitment of both executives to provide customers with new capabilities to aid their missions. The chief executive also commented on Heald’s initiative in developing offerings with new technologies.
