Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) has promoted senior directors Grant Hagen, Jaime Orlando and Chris Walton to vice president roles within the technical solutions division, effective March 1.
Hagen, senior director of business excellence, will serve as VP of business operations at HII Technical Solutions, the company said Wednesday.
He led the integration of Spatial Integration Systems’ autonomy business and Hydroid and ongoing construction of the company’s unmanned systems center of excellence.
Orlando, who serves as senior director of communications, will elevate to the role of VP of communications. Under her leadership, her team has developed and implemented internal and external communications campaigns in support of the company’s business growth objectives.
Walton, who currently serves as senior director of information technology and chief information officer, will assume the role of VP of IT and CIO at HII Technical Solutions in March. Under his helm, the IT group implemented technologies and processes to support the division’s expansion efforts and improved the cybersecurity posture.
The three new VPs will continue to report to Andy Green, president of HII Technical Solutions and a 2021 Wash100 Award winner.
