The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded six companies spots on a potential 10-year, $33B contract for logistics services as part of the fifth-generation Special Operations Equipment Tailored Logistics Support program.
DLA’s troop support organization in Philadelphia is the contracting activity and received 29 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The SOE TLS program covers the delivery of total logistics support to federal agencies, military bases and other DLA customers worldwide to help them meet their SOE requirements.
All service branches will use the IDIQ contract, which has a two-year base period and four two-year options. Work will occur in Virginia, Illinois, Maryland and Massachusetts and the ordering period will run through Jan. 4, 2023.
