Sue Chodakewitz, president and CEO of consulting firm Nathan Associates, has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Professional Services Council's board of directors. She will also serve on the PSC Council of International Development Companies Executive Advisory Board for 2021.
Chodakewitz joined Nathan as president and chief operating officer in May 2015. As president and CEO, she has worked to restructure, rebrand and reposition the firm to promote growth and diversification of offerings and clients. Chodakewitz also serves on the Nathan Board of Directors and is chair of the Board of Nathan London.Â
Prior to joining Nathan, she served as president of Tetra Tech AMT, where she positioned the subsidiary as a provider of aerospace and technology services, and broadened the client base in federal, commercial and international markets.Â
During her tenure with Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), Chodakewitz she advanced to senior vice president, almost doubled revenue at SAICâs business consulting program, and directed a unit that reached nearly $200 million in annual revenue. She also served with Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) for nearly a decade.
âI look forward to serving on the PSC Board of Directors and working closely with my fellow board members and PSC member companies to engage more closely with government decision makers and develop innovative solutions to ongoing challenges,â said Chodakewitz.
Chodakewitz will join a board of notable leaders from PSC member companies, who have worked to create a fair and competitive federal contracting marketplace. In Dec. 2020, Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Leidos and seven-time Wash100 Award recipient, was reelected as chair of the board of directors at PSC for 2021.
âI look forward to serving in the chair capacity in 2021, working with other member companies to expand and strengthen our collective ability to reach decision makers, shape responses to ongoing challenges, and increase engagement with government agencies and other stakeholders," Krone said.
The council's board also voted to reappoint Carey Smith, president and chief operating officer at Parsons, as vice chair and PAE CEO John Heller, who is also a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient, as secretary.
âThe challenges of COVID-19, uncertain federal funding, and changes to the policies and regulations mean that our efforts as an association are critical to enable our member companies to support agency missions," said David Berteau, president and CEO of PSC and 2019 Wash100 awardee.
