President Biden Appoints 34 Acting Federal Agency Leaders

President Joe Biden, who took the oath of office Wednesday, has appointed individuals to lead 34 federal government organizations in acting capacities until his Cabinet choices complete confirmation procedures.

Each agency leader will support the new administration in efforts to create a “whole-of-government” strategy to address national challenges and increase public trust, the White House said Wednesday.

“I am thankful for their willingness to step-up to lead during these difficult times and help us make sure the government continues to operate and serve the American people,” said Biden.

Biden’s acting agency leadership appointees are:
