The U.S. Navy’s Naval Information Warfare Systems Command is exploring data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities from industry to develop and update command, control, communications, computers and intelligence platforms.
NAVWAR said in a market survey notice it is looking to issue a five-year, $100 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a multiple-award structure for software development and system modernization support services.
The performance work statement for the effort also covers integration and sustainment of software programs as well as the development of training tools and online help resources.
The proposed contract would serve as the Program Executive Office C4I’s vehicle for procurement activities to support infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service efforts such as the Shore Tactical Assured C2 and Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services.
Responses to the request for information notice are due Feb. 16.
