Jacobs (NYSE: J) has won a potential five-year, $480 million contract for architectural and engineering services to Department of the Navy environmental action programs within Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Atlantic’s area of responsibility.
The company will help manage DON’s munition response and environmental restoration initiatives throughout the region, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
NAVFAC Atlantic received two proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $200,000 on the initial task order for program management support to an office located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The task is expected to be completed in March 2022.
Work under the IDIQ award will occur in North Carolina, Maryland, California, West Virginia, Washington, Alaska and the District of Columbia.
The Pentagon expects contract services to conclude by January 2026.
