GovCon Expert Alan Chvotkin has joined law firm Nichols Liu as a partner. He has also been named the president of Pub K, a publisher covering the government contracting (GovCon) industry.

Effective immediately, Chvotkin will be launching the firm’s Government Relations and Business Intelligence practices for federal contractors. Chvotkin will utilize over 13 years of experience as a Senate professional staff member for the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee and later on the Senate Budget Committee and as the senior policy lead for a national trade association. In addition, he will be hosting and serving as a moderator for Pub K’s upcoming Government Contracts Annual Review on Jan. 24th – 28th, 2021.

Before joining Nichols Liu, Chvotkin served as executive vice president and counsel of the Professional Services Council (PSC) from Nov. 2001 through Dec. 2020. In the role, he was responsible for the association’s legislative and regulatory policy activity. He also served as a vice president of AT&T Government Services and was the corporate director of government relations and senior counsel at Sundstrand Corporation from 1986 to 1995.
