Envistacom Gets $235M Task Order for US Military Mission Connectivity Services; Alan Carson Quoted

Envistacom has received a $235 million task order to provide technical assistance for satellite communications and terminals that help U.S. military and NATO forces connect during theater missions.

The company said Monday its field service representatives will provide strategic and tactical satcom equipment support at the site along with engineering, cybersecurity, information assurance and administrative services.

Army Contracting Command awarded the task order under the Global Tactical Communications Systems II vehicle.

Alan Carson, president of Envistacom, said the recent award serves as a continuation of the company’s support for the Army and other service branches under the Department of Defense in ensuring that technical and communications services are accessible to deployed personnel.

Atlanta-based Envistacom is one of the 22 awardees on the GTACS II contract worth potentially $5.1 billion over 10 years.
