Boeing (NYSE: BA) has secured a six-year, $189.3M contract modification to procure kits, support equipment and contractor services for all-digital electronic warfare technology that will be integrated onto the U.S. Air Force's F-15 jets.
This award will also include government furnished property repair, technical and mod line standup services for the Eagle Passive Active Warning and Survivability System currently in low-rate initial production, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Boeing received a $478.8M EPAWSS engineering and manufacturing development contract in late 2016 and teamed up with BAE Systems to build a new EW suite for the F-15 fleet.
The branch is obligating $92.6M on the modification and expects work to be complete by Dec. 31, 2026.
