ASRC Federal Subsidiary Wins $212M Contract to Support NASA Research, Education Programs; Jennifer Felix Quoted

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences has been awarded the five-year, $212M NASA Research and Education Support Services contract for professional services and information technology support to the space agency.

The company said Tuesday its ADS subsidiary will also work with NASA’s Office of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Engagement through the NRESS contract.

“Our team will continue to focus on providing expertise to NASA’s basic and applied research, technology development and STEM engagement programs that fund leading-edge science, engineering and technology research needed to advance NASA missions,” said Jennifer Felix, ASRC Federal president and CEO.

Under the follow-on contract, ADS will support the peer review life cycle and research objectives of the agency’s Aeronautics Research Mission, Human Exploration and Operation Mission, Science Mission and the Space Technology Mission directorates.

ASRC Federal has supported the NRESS program since 2015.

“Earning the opportunity to be an ongoing part of this important mission for NASA is very gratifying,” Felix added.

Felix recently spoke with ExecutiveBiz regarding how the company’s offerings have evolved, as well as new initiatives and markets ASRC Federal will enter.

ExecutiveBiz: Where do you see ASRC Federal moving toward in the future?

“We’ve really looked at our core offerings across the organization. We’ve taken an inventory of that to understand where we are excelling and what we do well. We’ve expanded on delivering those capabilities. I project continued growth within those capability sets.
