Jennifer Morgan, former co-CEO of multinational software company SAP (NYSE: SAP), has been named global head of portfolio transformation and talent at New York-based investment firm Blackstone (NYSE: BX).
Morgan will lead a team that supports digital transformation-driven growth across Blackstone’s more than 200 portfolio companies and will serve as a key operating partner for its technology-focused investments, the company said.
She stepped down from her leadership post at SAP in late April after six months at the helm. Her 16-year career there has included time as president of the German conglomerate’s North American, regulated industries market and cloud business units.
A James Madison University graduate, Morgan serves as a board member at the Bank of New York Mellon and the National Academy Foundation.
Forbes has recognized her as one of the “most powerful women” in business and the world.
