In his role with Perspecta, Bohling directs the successful operation, execution and management of highly innovative, enterprise-wide solutions for federal defense agencies.
His group supports the mission to keep our country and its citizens safe by delivering solutions to improve software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions to key agencies in national defense.
Perspecta was recently awarded a potential five-year, $112 million single award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to perform systems engineering and integration (SE&I) work for the Space Development Agency (SDA). The company’s work on the program began in late October under an initial $17.8 million task order.
“Our sophisticated, scalable SE&I expertise will support the U.S. government in maintaining a multi-domain technological and military advantage in an era of increasing threat and international competition,” said Bohling.
The company was also recently awarded a potential four-year, $237 million Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) from the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command to deliver the Army Training Information System (ATIS).
“As a leader in digital strategy and transformation, we are committed to bringing the most innovative solutions to our customers in order to enable mission success,” said Bohling.
Bohling recently joined the National Defense Industrial Association’s board of directors, where he will help drive strategic dialogue in national security by identifying key issues and leveraging his knowledge and experience of the military, government, industry and academia sectors.
His deep experience across the defense sector, and continued support of the federal government, will provide further insight into the modernization initiatives and new solutions GovCon companies provide to support critical missions across the service branches.
During GovConWire’s Air Force: IT Plans and Priorities Forum, notable federal and industry leaders will discuss digital Air Force Strategies, IT spending, new modernization initiatives and advanced cybersecurity practices that will enable the Air Force to stay up to speed across the defense landscape.
The event will also feature an expert panel, hosting Alka Bhave of Perspecta, as well as Marc Packler, Nicolas Chaillan and Chad Raduege of the U.S. Air Force. To register for the Air Force: IT Plans and Priorities Forum, as well as view upcoming opportunities, visit GovConWire’s Event Page.
