L3Harris (NYSE: LHX) has won a potential five-year, $667.9M contract to help the U.S. Air Force maintain all variants of the service branch's C-130 Hercules transport aircraft.
The company will provide midcycle paint services for C-130J airlifters and depot-level maintenance for C-130H planes, the Department of Defense said Monday.
USAF received two offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a full and open competition and obligated $26M on the first task order under the IDIQ.
Contract work will take place in Waco, Texas, through Nov. 29, 2025.
The branch chose L3Harris to serve as the prime contractor for the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program's second increment. Lockheed Martin's (NYSE: LMT) aeronautics segment manufactures the tactical airlift vehicle.
