The Defense Health Agency plans to award a potential $2B blanket purchase agreement to provide systems integration and managed information technology services throughout a 10-year period, Bloomberg Government reported Thursday.
DHA said in a recent industry day presentation that the first task order under the Enterprise IT Systems Integrator BPA is valued at $100M and is meant to consolidate six enterprise IT contracts.
The EITSI effort comes as part of DHAâs compliance with a congressional directive to assume ownership and oversight of the Military Health System as well as medical facilities previously under the service branches, according to BGOV.
