PAE (Nasdaq: PAE) has closed its $208M cash acquisition of Burlington, Massachusetts-based intelligence analysis service provider Centra Technology in a deal PAE President and CEO John Heller says will expand the Falls Church, Virginia-based contractor’s addressable government market areas.
Heller, a five-time Wash100 Award recipient, said in a statement released Friday the combination will add “qualified employees to our global workforce with subject matter expertise across a broad range of critical national security issues.”
PAE first announced the transaction last month as part of a strategy to expand its access to major contract vehicles and add intelligence analysis, research and development and communications system integration offerings.
The company estimated that the transaction will increase its total addressable market by $36B in annual spending.
