Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential six-year, $64.1M contract to help the Federal Aviation Administration establish an enterprise portal for applications and data to support the agency's safety management operations.
FAA said in a notice posted Friday on the beta SAM website that Leidos will perform work on the Operational Analysis and Reporting System throughout a four-year base period.
According to the request for offers, FAA intends to consolidate its disparate software, applications and databases into a centralized information access portal.
FAA noted that OARS will serve as âa single access point to data and applicationsâ that the agency uses for safety analysis activities.
The hybrid OARS contact includes fixed and cost-reimbursable line items as well as two two-year extension options.
