Clay Goldwein, a 26-year CGI Group (NYSE: GIB) veteran, has been elevated to senior vice president of consulting services for homeland security at the company's federal arm.
He oversees a portfolio of CGI Federal programs encompassing cybersecurity, software development, cloud computing and project management office support work.
In his current capacity, Goldwein leads a team that works with the Department of Homeland Security in the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program.
CGI credited him with leading the development of a federal cloud platform as part of the General Services Administrationâs Infrastructure as a Service Blanket Purchase Authority and helping the company secure an authority to operate designation under Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
Goldwein previously served as director of operations for the firm's health care solutions group and spent his initial years of service within the environmental, health and safety practice.
He started his career at American Management Systems, which CGI acquired in 2004.
