By Light Professional IT Services' Phacil subsidiary will continue to support technical refresh work on Department of Defense networks under a potential $83.7M bridge contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency.
The company said Thursday it will engineer and implement turnkey platforms to help DISA provide voice, data and video services to military and civilian users of the Defense Information System Network worldwide.
Phacil, which By Light acquired in March 2019, received the contract extension under the full and open track of the $17.5B Encore III information technology procurement vehicle the agency unveiled in late 2017.
Work will include project and configuration management, logistics, de-installation and turnup and test support to the DISA Technology Refresh Program Management Office.
Derek Bulluck, a By Light vice president, said the company will work to update multiple legacy technologies and increase infrastructure survivability in support of DoD Information Network modernization efforts.
