XPER, formerly called Ibis Tek, has secured a potential $229M contract to supply protection equipment for the U.S. Army's family of heavy tactical vehicles.
Army Contracting Command received four proposals for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and will provide funds and work locations upon issuance of individual orders, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
DoD expects the Pennsylvania-based contractor to accomplish all tasks by April 7, 2027.
A Rockwood Equity Partners portfolio company, XPER rebranded in July to emphasize its experience in the transparent armor equipment market.
