Lucy Donahue, a more than 20-year federal health care procurement industry leader, has been promoted to chief strategy officer of By Light Professional IT Services in a string of executive appointments aimed at furthering the company’s strategic growth efforts in the information technology industry in support of government and industry clients.
Donahue, who previously worked at Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO), will oversee strategic partnerships, corporate positioning and innovative vision for ByLight, the company said Tuesday.
Tom Ryan, formerly a vice president responsible for By Light’s software development center of excellence, has been promoted to chief technology officer for strategic innovation. He will lead the company’s innovation cells, integration hubs, software factories and DevSecOps efforts.
Bill Sackewitz, who joined By Light in 2012 and became a part of the senior management team last year, will lead efforts to deliver custom digital platforms as senior VP of digital transformation. He has over two decades of experience in Agile product delivery, DevSecOps, design thinking and cloud.
Mike Farahbakhshian, a two-decade government IT industry professional, has been named associate VP of corporate strategic initiatives. He will lead efforts across the company’s vertical markets and help clients advance business development across IT growth sectors.
Erin DeCaprio, formerly a member of ByLight’s proposal team, has been promoted to director of corporate communications. She brings to the role over 25 years of experience in communications and will help the company fuse its corporate identity with acquisitions.
