Air Force Adds 15 Companies to $950M Joint All Domain C2 Support IDIQ
The U.S. Air Force has selected 15 additional companies as awardees on a potential $950M contract to build and operate systems across land, air, sea, space, electromagnetic spectrum and cyber domains as part of the Joint All Domain Command and Control program. The vendors will compete for task orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to demonstrate, mature and proliferate capabilities across domains and platforms using modern software and open systems design.

Army Futures Command (AFC) has approved the development of electric powered tactical and combat vehicles by the Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate. Rule Change to Add CMMC Requirements to Contracts Completes Interagency Review
The Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification has undergone an interagency review as part of a rulemaking process needed to make CMMC a part of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, FedScoop reported Tuesday. “The rule has finished interagency review, and we are still expecting the rule to come out by the end of the calendar year,” a spokeswoman for DoD told the publication in an email.
AT&T Vet Xavier Williams Named CEO of American Virtual Cloud Technologies; Darrell Mays Quoted
Xavier Williams, a 30-year veteran of AT&T (NYSE: T) and two-time Wash100 Award recipient, will lead American Virtual Cloud Technologies (Nasdaq: AVCT) as CEO starting Oct. 1. He will succeed Darrell Mays, who has been appointed executive vice chairman of AVCT’s board of directors, and will also serve as a board member, the Atlanta-based information technology services provider said Wednesday.

Diane Nguyen, a more than 25-year financial and accounting leader in the GovCon industry, has joined Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) as chief financial officer of the company’s federal business, GovCon Wire has learned. She came to Microsoft Federal from Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), where she most recently served as vice president of finance.
SAIC Wins $753M Army Intell Support Task Order
Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has won a potential five-year, $752.7M task order to provide intelligence support services for the U.S. Army. A contract award notice posted Sept. 4 says the General Services Administration’s Federal Acquisition Service received four offers for the task order. FAS will obligate $7.2M at the time of award. The task order has a one-year base term and four option years that could run through September 2025.
PAE Wins Contract to Provide COVID-19 Testing Services to NCAA; John Heller Quoted
PAE has been awarded a contract by the Southeastern Conference (SEC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to provide COVID-19 testing services for fall sports across 14 university locations, the company reported on Wednesday. “Having quickly responded to COVID-19 for customers that include the state of Georgia, we are well positioned to provide critical support to the SEC,” said 2020 Wash100 Award recipient John Heller, president and CEO of PAE.

DARPA said Friday the two companies demonstrated ground and aircraft systems during the OFFensive Swarm-Enabled Tactics field test that took place at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington.
