Maj. Gen. Greg Masiello, program executive officer for air anti-submarine warfare, assault and special mission programs at Naval Air Systems Command, will participate in a panel discussion during Potomac Officers Club’s 2020 Navy Forum on September 30th.

The panel will feature Capt. Frank Futcher, director of NavalX. Susan Lawrence, managing director of the Joint Forces Sector with Accenture Federal Services (AFS) and Wash100 Award recipient, will moderate the expert panel.
Masiello assumed his current position as the PEO(A) in May 2018. Before joining the division, he served as V-22 joint program manager with PMA-275, from August 2009 to July 2013. Masiello also served as senior military assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, from July 2013 to August 2014.
From August 2014 to November 2015, he served as F-35 joint program director of Follow-on Development. In November 2015, Masiello assumed the role as the assistant commander for Logistics & Industrial Operations with Naval Air Systems Command.
During the event, Masiello will use his knowledge of defense that he has acquired throughout his career in the defense sector to discuss decentralization and digitization of the U.S. Navy, as well as develop its talent in the field.
The Navy has accelerated acquisition channels, modernized emerging technologies and increased research and development to become more effective in warfare.
