The U.S. Space Force has awarded Aerospace Corp. a one-year, $1.11B contract option to engineer and integrate systems for the national space community.
The exercised option represents the second option year for fiscal 2021 services under a multiple-award contract managed by USSF's Space and Missile Systems Center, the Department of Defense said Monday.
DoD pegged the cumulative face value of the contract at $3.27B and noted that work will take place in El Segundo, California, through Sept. 30, 2021.
