POC Hosting ‘Future Battlefield Series’ Virtual Event on Tuesday, Aug. 11th; Featuring MG Peter Gallagher, BG Rob Collins, Leonel Garciga and Alan Hansen of U.S. Army
On Tuesday, Aug. 11th, Potomac Officers Club (POC) will host its next virtual event in the “Future Battlefield Series” Weaponizing Data Across the Digital Battlefield to explore and inform the government contracting (GovCon) community about the current initiatives and modernization plans for the U.S. Army.

The event will feature four keynote speakers, including MG Peter Gallagher, director of the Army’s Network Cross-Functional Team, BG Rob Collins, program executive officer for Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T), Leonel Garciga, director of Information Management for the Army, and Alan Hansen, director of Intelligence Systems & Processing (ISP) at the RDECOM Intelligence & Information Warfare Directorate for the branch.
The event will be moderated by Michael Davenport, senior vice president with Booz Allen Hamilton. The speakers will discuss the Army’s need to leverage and integrate the latest emerging technologies to deliver faster and more secure solutions, including how to transform the digital battlefield through investments such as open architecture, DevSecOps, APIs, next generation governance and converged data platforms.
