Hector Cuevas, most recently senior vice president of product sales operations at Parsons (NYSE: PSN), has been promoted to executive vice president for missile defense and C5ISR market leader.
Carey Smith, president and chief operating officer of Parsons and a two-time Wash100 awardee, said in a statement published Friday Cuevas’ leadership ability, knowledge of customer requirements and expectations and product experience will support the company’s efforts to continue delivering innovative platforms to security customers worldwide.
“His experience will be invaluable to growing our missile defense & C5ISR markets, broadening our software and hardware technology, and furthering our culture of performance, exploration and inclusion,” Carey added.
Cuevas moved to Parsons in January 2019 after the company acquired OGSystems. He served for two decades in the U.S. Army and Intelligence Community. His military career included time with Special Operations Command-Africa leading ISR and geospatial intelligence support to over 100 special operations missions.
