Ashley Still, senior vice president of digital media at Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE), wrote in a blog post published Thursday the company will seek moderate impact level approval under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for a cloud-based electronic signature technology.
“Adobe Sign is currently authorized as FedRAMP Tailored, and with this new authorization level, it will be possible for agencies to extend e-signatures to processes that include the collection of personal information,” Still noted.
The company designed the tool to help users send, track and collect e-signatures in documents from any device. San Jose, Calif.-based Adobe offers seven cloud services to the public sector via the FedRAMP marketplace.
