Joan Bishop Joins Maximus Federal Unit as Clinical Services VP

Joan Bishop, formerly a director at KPMG US, has joined Maximus' (NYSE: MMS) federal arm as vice president of clinical services.

She will lead the design and implementationĀ of the company'sĀ federal health strategy that includes creating new clinically-related service offerings and establishing relationships with multiple sectors,Ā Bishop said in aĀ LinkedIn post published Thursday.

Bishop previously led business development functions for the Military Health System Markets and Department of Veterans Affairs marketsĀ at Optum andĀ General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) information technology business.

Her industry career also includes time at Advoco, Encore Health Resources, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).
