Doug Wagoner, a more than 30-year federal information technology and management consulting industry leader and a previous Wash100 awardee, will join LMI on Aug. 3 to serve as president and CEO.
“From Doug’s long history of public service, he has a sincere appreciation for LMI’s legacy and our culture. He is passionate about our mission of improving the business of the federal government and is committed to our overall strategy,” Ken Krieg, board chair of LMI, said in a statement published Wednesday.
Brian Fitzpatrick was named interim CEO in March after David Zolet, a 2020 Wash100 award recipient, stepped down from his roles as president and CEO.
Wagoner previously served as a sector president at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC). Prior to SAIC, he held senior leadership roles at DSA, ChoicePoint and EDS, which now operates as DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC).
Wagoner said he is proud to join LMI, which has served customers in the defense, intelligence and health markets with its analytics and other technology platforms.
