Novetta has acquired software engineering services provider WaveStrike for an undisclosed sum to develop new growth opportunities for employees and expand its capability development expertise.
“Combining our complementary capabilities and talented teams mean stronger support for our customers,” Tiffanny Gates, president and CEO of Novetta and a 2020 Wash100 Award winner, said in a statement published Monday. “The synergy between our programs positions us for larger-scale opportunities and reinforces us as a top destination for technical talent.”
Established in 2010, Annapolis Junction, Md.-based WaveStrike also provides data analytics and technology platforms to customers in the national security market.
Anne Wagner, president and CEO of WaveStrike, and Mike Wagner, a vice president and chief technology officer at WaveStrike, will continue to oversee their teams as part of Novetta’s analytic capabilities division, which provides tech platforms in the areas of cloud, big data analytics, Agile software development, DevSecOps, distributed computing and web development.
Baird served as WaveStrike’s exclusive financial adviser in the transaction, which closed Wednesday, June 10.
