Gilbane Building Company's federal subsidiary will build a 135,392-square-foot building at Fort Gordon in Georgia under a potential two-year, $96.9M contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
USACE received five bids for the project via an online solicitation process and obligated the full contract amount at the time of award, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Pentagon expects contract work to be complete by June 19, 2022.
Gilbane's lead federal international construction operations unit is headquartered in Concord, Calif., and provides facility construction, fuel systems installation and repair and environmental support services.
