E3/Sentinel has acquired Lucid Perspectives for an undisclosed sum in a move to expand data engineering, software development and advanced analytics offerings for the federal sector, E3/Sentinel announced Monday.
“We are thrilled to continue to add highly educated, technical and cleared professionals, desirable contracts and skill sets to our mission-focused platform. By combining the industry leading capabilities of Lucid and Data Works, we will provide our existing government clients and our prime contractors even more resources to advance their mission needs in a fast-evolving era of government contracting and support,” said Andy Maner, CEO of E3/Sentinel.
Lucid’s operations will immediately be combined with Data Works, an E3/Sentinel company, to create new solutions in cybersecurity, software development, advanced analytics and systems engineering arenas.
“With Lucid’s advanced technical capabilities, the preeminent customers they serve, and the strong employee culture the company has built, we are excited to welcome the Lucid team into our E3/Sentinel enterprise,” added Maner.
Lucid has supported the Intelligence Community (IC) specializing in software, cyber, network and systems engineering. The company has built complex systems for people, processes, data, and technologies within the federal government to expedite missions.
“We’re excited to join the E3/Sentinel family and further expand their already robust offerings for the Intelligence Community, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of Defense (DoD) and Civilian agencies. Our organizations are strategically aligned, from E3/Sentinel’s strong, employee-first culture to their investment in building comprehensive, integrated solutions for customers, we see significant and exciting synergies working together,” said Mike McDaniel, co-founder and CEO of Lucid.
