American Electronic Warfare Associates has won a potential five-year, $218M contract to support the U.S. Navy’s research activities under its Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test department.
AMEWAS will help the department operate, maintain and update its laboratories and facilities in addition to providing assistance for its research, development, test and evaluation activities, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award will support the department’s RDT&E operations for advanced aircraft and other technologies intended for a simulated combat environment.
Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division received one offer for the IDIQ contract through a competitive acquisition process and will obligate funds upon issuance of each order.
Contract work will take place in Patuxent River, Md., through May 2025.
