Pat Mungovan
Pat Mungovan, formerly head of North America cloud strategy and business development group at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), has been appointed senior vice president of the company’s North America public sector sales.
“Pat’s experience in the industry, along with Oracle’s government solution portfolio, which has achieved FedRAMP High authorization, puts us in a great position to help our government and higher education customers on their journey to the cloud,” Mark Hura, SVP of North American technology at Oracle, wrote in a blog post published Friday.
Mungovan succeeds Mark Johnson, a three-time Wash100 awardee who passed away in February. He previously led the company’s higher education technology group and served as group VP for research and academic medical center technology sales.
