Cubic’s (NYSE: CUB) mission solutions business has transferred its Tampa operations in Florida to a larger office in the city to advance growth initiatives and further support U.S. military clients through the delivery of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technology platforms.
Mike Twyman, president of Cubic Mission Solutions and a 2020 Wash100 awardee, said in a statement published Tuesday the Tampa operations’ expansion will allow the company to better serve its key customers.
“Our new and expanded office space will not only be the home base for our Tampa personnel, but it will also enable support for two strategic cooperative research and development agreements we have with U.S. Special Operations Command,” Twyman added.
The new office will accommodate a tech demonstration area and integration lab and serve as one of the company’s C4ISR centers of excellence. Cubic supports C4ISR programs for SOCOM, Transportation Command, Southern Command and Central Command through its Tampa operations.
