Diane Nguyen, former chief financial officer of EverWatch, has joined Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as vice president of finance, GovCon Wire has learned.
She has more than two decades of financial and accounting experience in the government contracting space and her industry background encompasses strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, internal controls, business intelligence and compliance functions.
Previously, she held a 15-year career at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) — where her more recent positions were as CFO and VP of finance within its information technology unit — and played a role in the company’s acquisition deals worth more than $4B.
Nguyen also served as division finance chief at Veridian, which General Dynamics acquired in 2003. The certified public accountant began her career in public accounting at Coopers & Lybrand.
