The U.S. Naval Academy’s Midshipmen football team defeated the Army West Point’s Black Knights, 31-7, Saturday in the 120th iteration of the rivalry game between the two service academies at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, The Washington Post reports.
Senior quarterback Malcolm Perry helped the Mids overcome a three-match losing streak with his 304 rushing yards and pair of touchdowns during the Army-Navy game.
He set a single-season record for the most yards on the gridiron in Navy’s football history.
President Donald Trump tossed the coin before the event, where he was accompanied by Defense Secretary Mark Esper and Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
