Sharon Hays, a senior fellow of LMI, has been named chief technology and strategy officer of the nonprofit consulting firm.
She will lead efforts to develop service offerings for the government sector and work with other executives who oversee LMI’s advanced analytics, management advisory, digital services and logistics lines of business, the company said Tuesday.
Before LMI, Hays led a high-performance computing innovation hub and multiple agency portfolios for the General Dynamics‘s (NYSE: GD) information technology business.
Her public-sector career included time as subcommittee staff director on the House Science Committee and associate director and deputy director for science at the Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Sharon has distinguished herself as a leader and colleague who shares our organizations commitment to helping customers harness innovation, said David Zolet, president and CEO of LMI and a 2019 Wash100 Award recipient.
