Pete Pflugrath, former vice president of corporate business development for LMIs defense segment, has been appointed VP of the organizations logistics division.
As part of his new role, Pflugrath will oversee the service line’s portfolio encompassing supply chain management, infrastructure support, maintenance and operational services, acquisition and lifecycle management and other energy and environmental-related support, LMI said Wednesday.
Prior to joining LMI, Pflugrath held VP roles at American Systems and Raytheons (NYSE: RTN) BBN Technologies subsidiary. He also led software engineering activities at CGIs Stanley Associates subsidiary and Northrop Grummans (NYSE: NOC) PRC business earlier in his career.
He brings more than three decades of experience overseeing programs in the defense, healthcare and national security sectors to his new role.
David Zolet, president and CEO at LMI and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said Pflugrath will serve as a leader who understands that it is not only what you attain but how you reach your goals that matters.
Pflugraths appointment comes after LMI acquired predictive analytics software developer Clockwork Solutions and partnered with The Climate Service to offer a climate analytics tool to federal agencies.
