INCATech has won a multiyear contract from the Department of Commerce to provide tools for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to visualize and compare geographic data on broadband coverage throughout the U.S.
The company said Monday it will help NTIA utilize a cloud-based geospatial information system and business intelligence tools as part of the BroadbandUSA program to determine which regions lack sufficient internet access.
Under the contract, INCATech will also offer software integration, map development and enterprise consulting services for utilization of cloudbased GIS technology at the agency.
NTIA works with local and state government agencies and nonprofit organizations in efforts to expand connectivity, encourage digital inclusion and identify funding sources for local broadband services.
INCATech is a Reston, Va.-based woman-owned company that uses Agile methodologies to support government infomation technology programs.
