CNSI has appointed two-decade finance professional David Adams as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Rockville, Va.-based health information technology provider.
The certified public accountant will oversee the company’s finance and accounting department and lead the development of a capital structure intended to drive growth and acquisition goals, CNSI said Wednesday.
Todd Stottlemyer, CNSI CEO and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said Adams brings a wealth of industry experience as the company aims to expand operations through acquisitions and contract wins.
Adams joins the company after he held a similar role at Endeavor Robotics. Before that, he worked in financial leadership positions at Tribalco, QinetiQ North America and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).
His corporate career started at PwC as a manager of audit and business advisory services.
