Jeff Brody

The U.S. Agency for International Development has awarded 10 companies positions on the unrestricted portion of a potential five-year, $2.5B contract to support U.S. foreign policy objectives by helping USAID’s office of transition initiatives advance democracy and stabilization efforts in countries facing political crises.

A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says the unrestricted portion of the Support Which Implements Fast Transition 5 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is for the implementation of transition programs.

The SWIFT-Programs service component calls for contractors to implement and oversee activities from the Transition Activities Pool and provide support to program funded-USAID personnel.

The awardees are:

  • AECOM (NYSE: ACM)
  • Chemonics International
  • Creative Associates International
  • Crown Agents USA
  • DAI Global
  • Development Transformations
  • Dexis Consulting Group
  • Management Systems International
  • Palladium International
  • The Kaizen Co.

USAID awarded the fourth iteration of the SWIFT program in February 2014.
