Enlightenment Capital has invested in Washington, D.C.-based spectrum and engineering platforms and services contractor Expression Networks to support its growth strategy.
Devin Talbott, managing partner and founder of Enlightenment Capital, said in a statement issued Monday Expression Founder Abir Ray and his team have developed a set of capabilities designed to evaluate and defend the electromagnetic spectrum domain and Enlightenment is excited to team up with the company to help meet the needs of its client base.
Established in 1997, Expression provides EM spectrum management platforms, integrated information technology, software engineering, data analytics, automation and visualization systems to the Department of Defense and other national security agencies.
Enlightenment made the investment through its small business investment company fund. The private investment firm received a Small Business Administration approval for its SBIC fund in June.
