TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 10, 2019 Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE: DNB) has awarded its inaugural scholarship grant on geospatial data science to a University of Colorado graduate student who will research and develop 3D geospatial applications related to transportation, ExecutiveBiz reported Aug. 23.
The company said Aug. 22 that Ph.D. candidate Yaneev Golombek, the first-ever recipient of the Dun & Bradstreet Geospatial Data Science Scholarship valued at $15,000, seeks to increase understanding of ways to fortify public infrastructure in preparation for natural disasters. Dun & Bradstreet collaborated with the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation to provide the data science scholarship.
