Nazzic Keene Officially Elevates to SAIC CEO Role

TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 12, 2019 ” Nazzic Keene, 2019 Wash100 Award recipient, officially transitioned from her previous role as chief operating officer of Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) to be the company’s new CEO following the retirement of former top executive and fellow 2019 Wash100 Award winner Tony Moraco, ExecutiveBiz reported Aug. 1.

In addition to corporate recruiting and customer relationships, Keene will prioritize the company™s public sector offerings, including its space and intelligence products as well as its information technology services, SAIC said Aug. 1.

She succeeds six-time Wash100 winner Moraco, who became SAIC™s CEO in 2013. The company announced Moraco’s planned July 31 retirement in March, naming Keene as the CEO successor elected by its board of directors.
