Kevin Samuelson
Kevin Samuelson, formerly chief financial officer of Infor, has succeeded Charles Phillips as CEO of the business cloud software provider. Phillips has held the CEO post over the past nine years and will transition to a new role as chairman of the firm’s board of directors, Infor said Wednesday.
As CFO, Samuelson led sales and operational activities and helped grow corporate revenue from $35M to $3B. Previously, the 14-year company veteran served a senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions. His career also includes time as CFO of artificial intelligence-based software developer InsideSales and chief operating officer of online retailer Backcountry.
Infor also promoted Chief Accounting Officer Jay Hopkins to the position of CFO, and named Cormac Waters and Rod Johnson to general manager roles. Chief Technology Officer Soma Somasundaram will concurrently serve as the company’s new president of products.
