Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Sikorsky subsidiary has secured a potential five-year, $91.3M contract to engineer and provide other support services for the U.S. Army’s H-60 Black Hawk fleet.
Army Contracting Command solicited one bid for the cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price contract and will determine funding and location details with each order, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Sikorsky will support all versions of the military utility helicopter platform through June 27, 2024.
The 22K-pound Black Hawk is designed to transport as many as 12 warfighters to the battlefield and support medical evacuation, aerial firefighting and external lifting missions.
