KBR has received a 42-month task order to help the U.S. Air Force establish an organization at Wright Patterson AF Base in Ohio to integrate multidisciplinary support efforts for deployed F-35s worldwide.

The company said Thursday it will assist the service branch in setting up the F-35 Hybrid Product Support Integrator organization and the Special Projects Office within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in managing new programs, including those under the F-35A Fleet Management Office and HPSI units.

Reggie Hamilton, director of Air Force programs at KBR, said the company intends to deploy technical professionals who will provide logistics and assessment services for the Air Force’s aircraft sustainment strategy development efforts.

According to the Air Force, it aims to integrate supply chain, training, maintenance, logistics information technology and sustainment engineering services into F-35 HPSI.

The organization will employ approximately 400 professionals from the U.S. military, partner nations and contractors.

HPSI staff will report to the F-35 Joint Program Office’s product support manager.
