Dawne Hickton
Dawne Hickton, a board member at Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC), has been named chief operating officer and president of the companys aerospace, technology and nuclear business in a move that will take effect June 3.
She will succeed Terry Hagen, who will transition to the role of executive strategic adviser to Jacobs Chair and CEO Steve Demetriou to help oversee integration planning efforts related to the companys pending acquisition of KeyW, Jacobs said Thursday.
Demetriou said Hickton brings to the role three decades of industry experience and will help Jacobs advance its strategy to deliver novel platforms to clients as a member of the companys executive leadership team.
Hickton is former vice chair and CEO of RTI International Metals, which Alcoa acquired in 2015. She is a past member of the Aerospace Industries Association’s executive committee and a board member of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
